Lab · Chart

Don’t spend the appointment reconstructing the week.

A fake chart, on purpose. One patient, one visit, one home program. Dark on the phone at night. Light on the iPad in the room. The rings are the same object. Thursday was a flare. Recap is optional.

How to use it

  1. Look at the room. Maya is here at 10:15. The week is already in the chart.
  2. Tick an item on the phone. The visit note drafts itself.
  3. Open Wednesday. The stairs note is already in the day. Add another — or a flare, a couldn’t, an extra.
  4. Open Thursday. Flare is a dashed ring, not a failed streak.
  5. Use Room or Home if you want one surface. Both is the point.

Friday 21 August

3 of 5 ticked. Write into the day if Sarah should already know.

Visit note · drafting from the week

    • Wed 19 Aug · stairs were ugly.
    • Thu 20 Aug · flare. Couldn’t — not a zero.
    • Home program this morning: Ankle alphabet, 2 min; Single-leg balance, 3×30s; Calf raises, 3×12.
    • Still open today: Short walk, no limp; Ice after, 10 min.

Demo only. Maya, Sarah, and Harbour Physio are made up. 5 home-program items, a scripted week, Thursday a flare. Tick the phone or write into a day — the note on the iPad writes itself. Nothing is stored.

      Continuity, not a dashboard

Fake EHRs are a crowded portfolio move. Chart is not that. There is no billing rail, no vitals sparkline, no inbox. The case is one object crossing two rooms: a home program at 9pm and the first screen of the visit.

The incentive is not a streak. It is being known. Tick tonight and the appointment does not open with “so, did you do the exercises?” A half ring is honest. A flare is cheaper than lying. The note is already drafting.

This is a Lab prototype. A real clinic would still write a chart on a real backend. The argument is that the recap is a ritual we can stop paying for.

Demo only. No patients, no accounts, no network. Friday 21 August is a fixture. Sarah cannot make Thursday not a flare.
